Art Together…Art Forever

In this private, collaborative workshop, a small group works through the artistic process with art teacher, Aliza Cantu, to plan and create a mixed media masterpiece.

This collaboration requires two or three meetings. The first meeting is a brainstorming session where artists and teacher meet to create a theme and layout for their collaborative piece. During this first session, a design will be sketched and materials will be decided.

In our second session, (lasting about two hours) artists put on their creative hats and follow their plan to create a wonderful mixed media masterpiece that will last a lifetime. As this session ends, we will determine the need for a third one.

These sessions are perfect for everyone, including family groups, school groups, and close friends.

The paintings make incredible gifts for the hard to shop for loved one, they are a family heirloom to share with pride, they make wonderful auction items for fundraisers, and they make lasting memories for the participants.

The $350 price includes both the planning and creative sessions, one 36” by 48” canvas and a variety of media for use on the piece. Media to be used include acrylic paint, tissue paper, drawing paper, watercolor, pastels, glue, and embellishments. If you have other media in mind, our artists at Paint, Paper, Scissors are happy to work with you to secure them at a minimal cost.
