Enriching Summer Camps 2010
We had so much fun at summer camps this year, check back in the Spring for our 2011 camp schedule.

Clayworks Food & Friends
June 7 to 11 (ages 6 to 10)
Rev up those fingers and get busy making mini food and tiny friends to go along with those treats! Artists will use colorful polymer clay to create delightful treats and friends.
Fee: $180, Extended Day $200

Undersea Discoveries – CAMP FULL
June 14 to 18 (ages 4 to 8)
Immerse yourself in sea life in this camp that has artists creating everything from fish prints to sand art. Explore your creativity as you explore a variety of media to create wonderful masterpieces!
Fee: $180, Extended Day $200

Marvelous Matisse
June 21 to 25 (ages 4 to 10)
He is the King of Color! Explore the life of Henri Matisse, one of the most loved artists of all time. Learn about his unique painting style with both brush and scissors and create wonderful pieces of your own!
Fee: $180, Extended Day $20

Stories of Childhood – CAMP FULL
June 28 to July 2 (ages 4 to 10)
Join us as we artistically explore some of our favorite stories and illustration styles. We’ll read wonderful books together and try our hand at creating Rainbow Fish, Raggedy Anne and Andy, Wild Things and other childhood favorites.
Fee: $180, Extended Day $200

Just for Tweens and Teens
geared for older artists ages 10 and up.
Monday to Thursday, 3 to 6 p.m.


Paper Adventures
June 7 to 10
Tired of boring white paper? Well, let’s make our own! We’ll mix and make our own paper for use of writing, drawing and sculpture! We’ll also throw in a little paper origami and paper journal-binding for fun.
Fee: $150

July Summer Camps

A Book About Me – CAMP FULL – try Vincent Van Gogh for some fabulous painting! July 26 to 30
July 5 to 9 (ages 4 to 8)
Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to noon or 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
You are unique; let’s tell the world all about you! In this class, artists use writing and drawing skills to create a multimedia autobiography. Author/illustrators will create a unique multidimensional work about themselves.
Fee: $180, Extended Day $200

Art Around the World
July 12 to 16 (ages 4 to 8)
Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to noon or 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Our artists become world travelers in this great camp that teaches us about fascinating countries through their artwork. Artists will use a variety of media to create their own versions of folk art from all over the world!
Fee: $180, Extended Day $200

Pop Art – CAMP FULL – try Vincent Van Gogh, July 26 to 30
July 19 to 23 (ages 6 to 10)
Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to noon or 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Explore the fun world of pop art as we study Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Claes Oldenburg, and others. We’ll try our hand at print making, painting, and sculpting!
Fee: $180, Extended Day $200

Vincent Van Gogh
July 26 to 30 (ages 6 to 10)
Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to noon or 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Vincent Van Gogh changed the way the world saw art with his vibrant colors and thick brush strokes. Explore his incredible art work and create your own masterpiece based on his style.
Fee: $180, Extended Day $200

Glass Art and Jewelry Making with artist Susan Butler
July 12 to 15
Monday to Thursday, 3 to 6 p.m.
Join local glass artist Susan Butler in a fascinating art class. Students will learn to cut glass to create wonderful art and jewelry pieces. Students will use wire and tools to create their wonderful masterpieces. Check out Susan’s website at www.conbriobeads.com.
Fee: $185 (includes a $35 supply fee).


August Summer Camps

Claywork Aplenty
August 2 to 5 (ages 6 to 11)
Monday to Thursday, 3 to 6 p.m.
Get messy — delve into the world of ceramics with local artist Trina Bacon! Students will learn building techniques in this unique and creative class.
Fee: $180

Reduce Reuse Recycle
Aug 2 to 6 (ages 4 to 10)
Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to noon or 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
o Wait-don’t throw that away! Someone’s junk is another’s treasure. Create incredible pieces of art by unlikely media with more traditional one and help the earth as we go along!
Fee: $180, Extended Day $200

A Little Bit of This and a Little Bit of That – CAMP FULL
Aug 9 to 13 (ages 4 to 10)
Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to noon or 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Why limit your artist? In this fun camp week we will paint, draw, print, and sculpt-a little bit of this and a little bit of that!
Fee: $180, Extended Day $200


Camp Schedule and Pricing:
Our weekly camps have two general run times 9 a.m. to noon or 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (also known as Extended Stay). Campers staying until noon pay $180/week, those staying until 2 p.m. pay $200 per week.

Super Extended Stay:
our camps dated June 7 to 11, June 28 to July 2, July 19 to 23, and August 2 to 6 qualify as Super Extended Stay. All campers (that are age qualified) may enjoy both our day and afternoon camps and may stay from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Monday to Thursday
9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) for a fee of $375 per week.

Afternoon Camps:
this year we are excited to offer six afternoon camps for our friends! Our afternoon camps run on select weeks from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Fee is $150, unless otherwise noted. As with our general camps, fee includes supplies, snacks, and a shirt!

Snack: we provide a light snack of crackers or pretzels and water to all of our campers.

Lunch: camper staying for Extended Stay or Super Extended Stay camps must bring a peanut-free lunch to camp with them. We happily can accommodate items in our refrigerator, unfortunately we do not have a microwave in the studio for heating up meals.

All fees (unless otherwise noted) include all supplies necessary for campers’ projects and a Paint Paper Scissors t-shirt.

Super Second Saturday
A kid's night out (or, should we say, a parent's night out). Your children will have a wonderful time while you go out and enjoy yourself!

Drop off your children (ages 5 and up) for dinner and arts and crafts while you go out!
Super Second Saturday runs from 6:30 to 9:30, reservations are required to secure a spot in our popular kid’s night out program.

6:30 p.m. every second Saturday of the month
Pick up is at 9:30 p.m.
Not enough time? Late stay is until 10:00 p.m.

$25 per child includes pizza and a drink, projects and games.
$15 for first sibling, $10 each additional sibling.
Late stay is an additional $5 per child.
