2008-09 Art Classes Start Sept. 8th
At Paint, Paper, Scissors our artists are encouraged to engage in a variety of media. We feel that the more students experience, the more confident they become in themselves, and the more avenues for creativity they encounter. Paint, Paper, Scissors students are provided with a nurturing environment that encourages self discovery and self reliance. Children do receive step-by-step instruction in each class but they are also provided with ample time for “free art” or time for personal freedom of expression. We believe it is of utmost importance to encourage artists, young and not so young, to express themselves visually in their own manner. By providing the tools and instruction on how to use these media, we enable the creative cogs in these gifted minds to turn ideas into masterpieces.
